Alquímico is something really special. Set within a beautiful mansion in the heart of Caragena, it offers three bars across three floors, with a different cocktail concept on each: the ground floor is all about classics; the first floor menu focuses on the colours of Colombia; and the rooftop terrace offers drinks inspired by the magic of the nation’s wildlife. If that wasn’t innovation enough, during the pandemic the team set up a farm which now supplies the bar with its fresh ingredients and also supports the local community. It’s no surprise – with all this in mind – that Alquímico ranked at No.47 in The World’s 50 Best Bars 2020 and took home the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award 2020, to boot.
