Admission and Stay Policies and Conditions:
At Alquímico, we have a smart-casual dress code. Beachwear, overly revealing or transparent clothing, informal tank tops/sleeveless shirts, and athletic wear are not permitted.
We reserve the right of admission.
Alquímico is a place open to the public that seeks to ensure all its customers have a pleasant experience during their stay. Therefore, we have the following policies to exercise our right of admission, in order to maintain the integrity and tranquility of employees and customers.
FIRST: At Alquímico, we are convinced that no one should be discriminated against, and therefore our experience is not limited by conditions of sex, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
SECOND: In the interest of the safety and integrity of our employees, customers, and the business establishment, the following are prohibited from entering and remaining on the premises:
- Persons carrying firearms, knives, blunt objects, or any implement that represents a risk to other people inside the business establishment. For compliance, our staff may request to check your bag or request a search, which is a necessary condition to allow entry to the establishment.
- Persons in a high state of intoxication, given that we do not have the equipment or instruments to measure blood alcohol levels, we will not allow the entry of people who do not have congruent ideas, reasonable conversations, and/or cannot stand without help.
- Persons under the influence of hallucinogenic drugs or substances prohibited by law.
- Persons who are buying or selling hallucinogenic drugs or substances prohibited by law.
- Persons exhibiting dangerous behaviors, such as violent attitudes, both verbal and physical aggression towards employees, customers, or people passing through the area.
- Persons who are causing or have caused damage to public property.
THIRD: Alquímico is committed to the social and cultural development of Cartagena D.T. y C. We believe that this is only possible to the extent that people can develop with dignity. In furtherance of the foregoing and to comply with legal mandates for the prevention of sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, the following are prohibited from entering and remaining on the premises:
- Minors.
- Persons who state that they are seeking sex tourism.
- Persons who offer sexual services, their own or those of third parties.
In no case will our establishment be responsible for the falsification of documents.
In this sense, when our staff notices any irregularity or a possible criminal act, they will go to the police and make the corresponding reports.
FOURTH: In order for our customers to have a pleasant experience during their stay that is in accordance with the imagery and recollection we want to generate, the following are prohibited from entering and remaining on the premises:
- Persons whose hygiene and personal care is not adequate to be in an enclosed space, that is, whose clothing is dirty and/or gives off strong odors that bother employees and customers.
- Persons naked, semi-naked, in underwear and/or with transparent garments that allow the underwear of the lower part of the body to be seen.
- Persons in a bathing suit or swimsuit.
- Persons in sportswear or sporty-beachwear.
- We ask our customers to maximize their experience in our bar by dressing in smart-casual attire.
FIFTH: No customer will be allowed to enter if the venue’s capacity has been exceeded.
Once a customer or group of customers leaves the venue, the same number of people will be allowed to enter.
SIXTH: Customers are only allowed to enter after the opening of the premises and no customer is allowed to enter after the closing of the premises.
Thursday, Friday
and Saturday:
Opening: 7pm
Closing: 3am
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday:
Opening: 7pm
Closing: 2am
Due to the high volume of customers and the fact that we do not offer table reservations, we recommend arriving at our establishment before 8pm to ensure entry.
SEVENTH: Our staff may ask customers to leave the premises if they fail to comply with any of our rules or policies. In which case, the client will be escorted to the exit and, if necessary, the police will be called.
EIGHTH: Although we love pets, the noise and chemicals we use to keep our bar pest-free can be a risk to their health. For this reason, you should not bring them.
